Candidates who clear the Patent Bar Exam get registration in the bar and practice as a patent agent. There are 10 beta questions which are not counted in the patent bar exam results; however, there is no method to identify which are the questions among the hundred questions which fall in the category of beta questions. Whereas before June 2004, the patent bar exam was a pencil-and-paper test, today it is given on the computers.
